Arizona Sports Business Report is a weekly radio show on THE FAN AM 1060 that focuses on the issues and people directly impacting the world of sports business and marketing. This one of a kind show is hosted each week by Mike Muraco, President of On Air Sports Marketing and Co-host of Calling All Sports with Roc and Manuch and Mike Grose co-host of Calling All Sports Saturday. Jon Schmieder, President of the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission contributes weekly.
The show focuses on an insider’s perspective within professional and collegiate sports organizations, executives, administrators, owners. Also included is a unique perspective with agents, sports apparel companies, ad agencies and media executive.
Arizona Sports Business Report Report focuses on the affects of the sports business dollar in Arizona. The show does include national sports business topics and guests and ties the content back to the Arizona market.
Marketing partnerships will focus on a limited number of companies with ties to area sporting events/teams, as well as organizations with ties to the business community. It is the intent of the Arizona Sports Business Report Report is to strengthen the brand of a limited number of marketing partners rather than expose a large number of companies with minimal strategic alignment.
The long term goal of Arizona Sports Business Report Report is to be licensed to other networks both locally and nationally including stations with business content formats as well as sports content formats.

Roc, brings over 20 years experience in the sports industry, specializing in sports marketing, media and public relations. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Sports Industry and Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University. Roc has worked in professional and collegiate capacities with stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Fall League, Phoenix Firebirds, Oakland A’s and the University of Pennsylvania. Muraco has been a committee member for over 12 years for the Fiesta Bowl and Insight Bowl, on the advisory board of National Football Foundation Valley of the Sun Chapter and active with the 100 Club of Arizona. He is President and Vice President, respectively for ON-AIR Sports Marketing and The Labrador Group. Muraco is also the co-host of Calling All Sports with Roc and Manuch weekdays 3pm-6pm on THE FAN AM 1060.

Mike Grose is the host of the highly rated Calling All Sports Saturday on The Fan AM 1060 He first started out as a producer of then AZGameday. When the show aired on KMVP 860, but quickly jumped up to the show’s number one fill-in on Saturdays. Mike is a former Sports Information Director who grew up in the friendly confines of Detroit, Michigan. He earned Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Political Science and as well his MBA. His “Day Job” is a manager for a large financial services firm here in the Valley. He is a proud resident of “The Westside” with his wife Karen. He has two children; Julia and Meg.

A thirteen-year veteran in the sports industry, Jon Schmieder was hired to lead the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission in June 2008. Schmieder has held leadership positions with the Denver & Tulsa Sports Commissions, a well as Senior Olympics, Pop Warner and the UA Alumni Association. Schmieder has worked on events ranging from college football to NCAA and Olympic Championships to the US Open. He currently serves as the Director of the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame and the Chairman of the National Board of Trustees for the National Association of Sports Commissions. www.phoenixsports.org.
