Jeff Dean: jeff.dean3@gmail.com – fills in both Kevin McCabe and Roc and Manuch. An Arizona native, born in Tucson and attended Dobson High School, Jeff has been involved in Valley sports for over 20 years. Seven of those have been spent as a member of the Phoenix radio sports media covering all the local teams and even a couple of non-”local” teams such as Arizona Wildcat football and basketball. His stay at the University of Arizona was a short one as the call to radio came at the age of 20. He has been onvolved in Valley radio for the better part of 14 years with stints at many FM as well as AM stations. Dean’s passions include the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA and NCAA basketball. However, his ultimate love is for college football and all it’s pageantry and controversy. Jeff is “loyal to a fault” and continues to be a die hard San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan, teams he grew up cheering for, along with his love for the Suns, Coyotes and hometown Wildcats. He was recognized in 2008 as a nominee for the Marconi Award for Acheivement in Sports Radio and is known for his knack to ask the tough questions while not pulling any punches on his opinions and inviting the listeners to express their opinions in an open forum style radio show. Jeff is called upon to fill-in at Calling All Sports and Kevin McCabe and Friends from time to time and enjoys every minute of it. “I am very pleased and excited to be a part of the team at Calling All Sports and The Fan AM 1060. I look forward to hearing from all the Valley’s sports fans. Your voice matters too!”
